Our Mission - A Natural Approach to Your Child's Education
Natural Beginnings is an in-home child care that is run like a mini child care center. It was founded in 2008 by Lucy McCoy; an environmental educator, biologist, Oregonian and mother.
Our mission is to provide the safest and most nurturing environment possible for infants and young children to grow and learn. To give parents peace of mind that their children will be happy and fulfilled in our care and that their food and surroundings are free from harmful chemicals. To employ a highly qualified teaching staff who are passionate about their commitment to the children and about maintaining a natural and wholesome environment.

We provide a safe environment protected from VOC's (volatile organic compounds), pesticides, herbicides, BPA, lead & mercury. These environmental factors have been shown to increase disabilities in young children. We protect children from these factors by providing natural, local & organic whole foods and by using recycled, natural & organic products.
We expose children to the natural world and world cultures through hands-on activities, songs, games, crafts, stories and more.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (may be extended)
Ages: 6 weeks - 12 years
